The Vault tab is designed to integrate daos.fun tokens. This integration allows Azura users to easily explore, analyze, and invest in decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) created on the Solana blockchain.
A vault token can be identified with this logo next to it's name.
What is DAOS.FUN?
DAOS.FUN is a decentralized platform where creators and fund managers can launch DAOs to raise capital and manage decentralized funds. These DAOs enable contributors to invest in unique projects such as meme tokens, AI technologies, or Solana-based protocols. Each DAO token represents a share of the fund, which fluctuates based on its performance.
How vaults works on Azura
The Vault tab on Azura simplifies interaction with DAOS.FUN tokens, presenting all the essential information in a clear and intuitive interface. Here's what's available:
Vault : The name of the DAO token is displayed, with a button to copy the contract address.
Raised : Displays the total funds raised during the DAO's initial fundraising phase, shown in both USD and SOL.
MarketCap: Shows the current market capitalization of the DAO token, calculated in USD.
Growth : Indicates the percentage difference between the initial raised amount and the current market cap.
Portfolio Value: Represents the total assets under the DAO's management, broken down into both SOL and USD.
Liquidity: Highlights the liquidity available in the official DAOS.FUN pool, expressed in USD.
Swaps: Provides the total number of swaps made, along with the buy/sell ratio,
Creator: Displays the name of the DAO creator with a link to their Twitter profile.
Buy Functionality: Include "Buy" button that opens a slider, allowing users to select the quantity of tokens they wish to purchase at market value.
Expiry and Fee: Displays the fund's expiry date and the management fee applied at expiration.
Understanding Expiry and Fees
Two important pieces of information for any DAOS.FUN token are its expiry date and associated management fees. These factors determine the lifecycle and costs of participating in the fund:
Expiry Date:
Each DAO has a predefined expiration period, typically ranging from 3 months to 1 year. At this date:The DAO wallet is frozen, meaning no further trading or fund management actions can occur.
Token holders can redeem their tokens by burning them, which grants access to the DAO's underlying assets (e.g., remaining SOL in the fund).
Alternatively, if the DAO's market value exceeds the initial fundraising amount, holders can sell their tokens on the open market for potential profits.
Management Fee:
Upon expiry, a management fee is applied to the total value of the DAO’s portfolio. This fee:Is predetermined during the DAO creation phase and varies depending on the fund manager.
Compensates the creator for their role in managing the fund's investments and ensuring its success.
Is deducted from the portfolio before profits are distributed to token holders.
For example, if a DAO raises 1,000 SOL and grows to 1,500 SOL by its expiry date, the management fee (e.g., 2%) will be applied to the total value (1,500 SOL). The remaining assets will then be distributed proportionally among token holders based on their share.
Managed Assets
In the spot page of a Vault token, the Portfolio Amount is displayed alongside the market cap. Clicking on it reveals a dropdown menu titled Managed Assets, which provides a detailed breakdown of the fund's Assets Under Management (AUM).
The dropdown includes:
Search Bar: Easily locate a specific token by entering its name or ticker.
Token: Displays the ticker name with a button to copy the contract address.
Balance: Shows the token balance held by the fund.
Value: Indicates the dollar value of the token within the fund.
Share: Represents the percentage that each token contributes to the total AUM.
This feature offers a transparent and user-friendly way to understand the composition of the fund's portfolio.
Filters
In the filter pop-up, you can refine your search by applying specific criteria to narrow down the list of tokens. Here’s a breakdown of the available filters:
Volume:
Set a minimum and/or maximum 24-hour volume to filter tokens and focus on those within a specific trading activity range.
MarketCap:
Set a minimum and/or maximum market cap to focus on tokens within a specific range.
Liquidity:
Set a minimum and/or maximum liquidity to filter tokens and focus on those within a specific liquidity range.
Swaps:
Filter by the number of swaps (buys and sells). This helps identify tokens with significant trading activity.
Buys and Sells:
Set specific ranges for buys and sells to focus on tokens with desired buying or selling patterns.
