Recover Your Account
Updated over a month ago

If you are unable to log in to your Azura account because you forgot your password or no longer have access to your passkey, you can recover your account by following these steps.

โš ๏ธ Important Security Notes:

  • You need access to your recovery key. More info about recovery key here

  • You must have access to your login method (Email, Google, or Apple ID) to use the Recovery Key.

  • Account recovery does not allow switching between a password and a passkey. If you were using a password, you must create a new password. If you were using a passkey, you must set up a new passkey.

Steps to Recover Your Account

  1. Select Your Login Method
Start by selecting the login method associated with your account:

    • Google Account: Choose this if your account is linked to Google.

    • Apple ID: Select this option if you used your Apple ID.

    • Email: If you signed up with your email, proceed with the email recovery option.

  2. Verify Your Identity

    • For email recovery, you will need to input the verification code sent to your registered email address.

  3. Reset Password or Passkey

    • Click on Forgot Your Password or Forgot Your Passkey, depending on your login method.

    • You will be prompted to enter your Recovery Key. This step is critical, as your recovery key is required to verify your identity and proceed with the reset process.

  4. Set Up New Password or Passkey
After entering your recovery key, you will be able to:

    • Create a New Password: If you were using a password for your account, you must create a new password.

    • Set Up a New Passkey: If you were using a passkey, you will be required to set up a new passkey.

    • Note: You cannot switch between a password and a passkey during account recovery. You must continue using the same type of credential as before.
